Salesforce.com is a customer relationship management (CRM) software-as-a-service (SaaS) provider. Themes of recent Dreamforce conferences have included mobile first, customer-centrism, data intelligence and Internet of Things (IoT) data governance.

Dreamforce 2015 featured thousands of sessions and product demonstrations geared to various industries, roles and sizes of companies. The conference introduced Startup Summit, with product-agnostic sessions designed to serve startups and entrepreneurs and an exploration of how they can best take advantage of advances in the Internet of Things. Hundreds of vendor companies participated in Could Expos, providing information and demonstrating new products for attendees.

Dreamforce has become one of the largest technology conferences in the world, drawing over 170,000 registered attendees in 2015. It brings in well known speakers and performers, and is often a platform for new product announcements and updates.
